Salsa Macha: Mexico’s Best-Kept Secret (Until Now)

By Mr. Loco, Your Flavor Dealer

Let’s get one thing straight: Salsa Macha is not your average salsa.
She’s bold, fiery, unapologetically flavorful — and now she’s in Sweden.

🌶️ Where It All Started

Salsa Macha was born in the southern states of Veracruz and Oaxaca — regions known for deep, smoky flavors and fearless cooking. Unlike tomato-based salsas, this one’s made with dried chilis, garlic, oil, and traditionally with nuts or seeds for texture. Yeah, Mexican chili oil kinda salsa!

💥 What’s in My Salsa Macha?

My version is:

  • Nut-free (no peanuts or almonds here. Only seeds)

  • Vegan

  • Gluten-free (duh)

It’s packed with dried chilis (two varieties), roasted garlic, seeds, raisins, and a smooth oil base that brings the heat without burning your face off.

It’s smoky, savory, a little addictive — and yeah, totally spoonable.

🍳 How to Use It (aka, Where NOT to Put It?)

Use it on:

  • Eggs (breakfast will never be the same)

  • Tacos (obviously)

  • Pasta (Italian-Mexican fusion? Si.)

  • Toast, rice bowls, grilled veggies, dumplings…

Put it on everything except maybe your toothbrush.

🇸🇪 Made in Sweden. Born in Mexico.

Salsa Macha is the first flavor drop from Mr. Loco — handcrafted right here in Gothenburg, using real-deal Mexican roots and Swedish precision.

And trust me: once you try it, you’ll never go back to that sad, tomato-water salsa again.
No offense. Okay, maybe a little.
